  • Look for this one to be the one saddled with Charles, or Philip, or possibly Arthur, or a combination including one or more of those monikers

Kate had her third child D. Another son! In line to be king one day maybe? I wonder what will happen when Megan and Harry start having babies?  Whose child is more important to the Crown? Sibling rivalry? I'm gonna ask! Happy Tuesday to thee sweetie! :) This post was edited by RosieG at April 24, 2018 2:04 AM MDT

Forrest Gump comes to mind. The Bubba Shrimp Company? Bubba is a redneck nickname isn't it Shuhak?  Didn't Bill Clinton have a Bubba brother? Now Bubba Trump fits or Bubba Bush. Bubba Obama? Less euphonious. Bubba Windsor? Is it the House of Windsor Shuhak? I dunno. Prince George. Princess Charlotte. Prince Bubba. How about plain old Prince Prince? Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)

I was being silly.  When I read this question my humorous mode instantly kicked in.  All the royal names sound so stuffy.  I thought, "how about a redneck name for once".

Is your humor showing ...."Prince Prince"?   (Oh, Prince, would you come hither please.  ... good boy!  Who's a good king... who's a good king).

You got me laughing on that one.  :-)

Thanks sweetie! I love to make people laugh. We laugh all the time at home. Jim is a very funny guy..dry wit..lots of play on words which I love. I'm delighted when he says I make him laugh. I think without laughter our world would be a dingy gray. I wonder if there are any bets being made in Las Vegas about the name? I think some folks would bet on anything. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. I think Prince Prince has a certain je ne sais quoi don't you? :) This post was edited by RosieG at April 25, 2018 9:33 AM MDT

One of those "who gives a ****" moments ...

How about "Ofpersia", then everybody will think he's a video game.

I think the birth of a child is miraculous anywhere it occurs. Don't you? Why hang the wickedness of ancestors on the back of an innocent newborn? I don't get it. Thank you for your reply Sbf! :)

Yes ... and no. Born to privilege, simply because his name is Windsor. Or Mountbatten, or Saxe-Coburg or whatever. One ancestor did sonething vaguely heroic centuries ago. Usurpers as well, as Edward IV was NOT the son of Richard Duke of York - at the time he had to have been conceived, Richard and Cecily were miles apart, he was at the front fighting in the Hundred Years' War. It's believed she may have been carrying on an affaire with an Agincourt archer.
Had title then devolved through his half-brother Clarence (who WAS Richard's son), things could have turned out differently. Tracing that line through the centuries, the true King is ... an Aussie! Simon Abney-Hastings, Earl of Loudon, born in Jerilderie, Australia (his father emigrated).

Well it is said by some that Prince Harry is not the son of Charles but of a red-haired dalliance Diana had during the marriage. So I guess it runs in royal families. But none of us is guilty of to whom we are born. We have no say in it. We are captive prisoners of sexual coupling. Of course if the kids grow up to be insufferable adults that IS their doing and they ARE responsible for whatever infamy they embrace. But the children? Not guilty by reason of logic. Some rise to the occasion and some tear it down. We can't know which Prince George, Princess Charlotte or the yet-to-be-named newborn son will do. In time we will of course. Thank you for your reply Sbf!  :)
