There are many dark/evil events that occurred in America. What was the most EVIL event in your country's past? Why THAT choice?

We took the lands of Native Americans. Made pacts with them and lied to them and murdered them
Slavery was a biggie and we fought a war where many died...brother against brother
We had the McCarthy hearings/blacklists which forced people to rat out/FINK on one another
We had the Japanese Internment camps where Japanese AMERICANS lived for years because of Pearl Harbor
We have guns and massacres and guns and massacres and guns and slaughters and guns. Guns. Guns.
We have a  wacko crackpot prez whom some adore and others deplore as he figuratively and literally rapes the country

Betcha can't match that for depravity and cruelty and evil. But try.

Most of what you mentioned is a non issue. You show complete lack of perspective and ignorance of history.

Native Americans were not all peace loving. You are grossly oversimplifying the history. Some of the tribes were barbarous as hell. The U.S. behaved shamefully, but so did they. The Comanche were f***ing savages.

The McCarthy hearings were not significant. They may have been a bit paranoid and overzealous about finding leftist scum, but there is nothing "evil" about it.

Even criticising slavery lacks perspective. You are criticising a time when slavery was widespread all over the world. So there is nothing specifically American about it. The U.S. was one of the first to abolish it.

Japanese internment was not a big deal. It was a necessary security measure during WW2.

In my opinion the most evil act in U.S. history was the Tuskegee experiment.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuskegee_syphilis_experiment

Though that's just what we know about. The deep state runs black ops like that all the time most of which we'll never know about. The only reason the system lets information like Tuskegee come out is so that people like you can be influenced to hate your country. It's part of presenting the age of globalism as more enlightened. Canada might be able to match that and maybe it's even a little eviller because it happened in a modern day society not a new world frontier. In the early 1950.s Canada needed a settlement in the Artic Circle so that Russia  couldn't claim it. So the Canadian government cut off funding and made fishing and hunting laws that would make it very hard for the Inuit people to live in their area. Then the government promised the Inuit a new bountiful hunting ground with newly build homes and supplies then they migrated the Inuit to the Artic Circle .  When they got there - there   was only a few tents and a few supplies - allergically the Canadian Government didn't care if the Inuit lived or died frozen or not they were still a human flag pole and Russia couldn't  claim that area.  But the Inuit did survive and when the Inuit started to prosper the Canadian Government sent in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and they demanded taxes and that the Inuit follow all Canadian laws. The Inuit refused and then allergically the R.C.M.P took away their hunting rifles and slaughtered there sled dogs. If you google  `Inuit forced migration` or `RCMP sled dog massacre`you can find more info about it. If you want to hear some real funny and strange music google Inuit`throat Songs`. Cheers!

I had no idea Nanoose. So the Inuit were expendable as far as the Canadian government was concerned. I wonder if there is only one person who decides who lives or dies or if it is always decided by a committee? I'm gonna ask. I will never understand how or why humans have such an enormous capacity for evil ugly cruel mean. Were they born that way, taught to be that way, or figured out all by themselves that being like that would guarantee success? Thank you for the education m'dear. Do you by any chance have Inuit blood in you? Happy Wednesday my friend! ((hugs))

Really? So what is your opinion of Putin's taking back Crimea and invading Ukraine? I'm pretty sure I know. Do you have any relatives still there Nanoose? It saddens me that what was a 'free' country got scooped up the evil Russia and no one did anything about it. Some folks complained about it but nothing was done to stop him so he is going to continue doing whatever he wants. I just thought of another question. Thank you for your reply! :)

I have no close relatives there but I still feel really bad for the people that live there and it really makes me mad thinking it's not going to get any better for them as long as Trump is president. A week ago Trump said he will put sanctions on Russia when they deserve them - Russia deserves   heavy sanctions right now now.. Cheers!

Right and Nikki Haley, our UN Ambassador said as much on a Sunday and the next day the rug was pulled out from under her and she looked foolish. Some dumba** doofus appointee said she was " confused". She said "all due respect I do not get confused". She should have resigned on the spot. Thank you for your reply Nanoose. The chickensh** doofus is scared of his own shadow and unraveling more and more each day. It is good to see that he is undoing himself since everyone else with any power lacks courage and honor and integrity. :)

Aboriginal genocide. Unlike the Native Americans, who were a warlike people and well able to defend themselves (it was disease, alcoholism, diversion of waterways and extermination of the bison that almost wiped them out rather than open warfare) or the Maori (defeated by cheating on a signed treaty), the Native Australians were not accustomed to internecine warfare, still used stone age technology - and were hunted like vermin. Wiped out completely in Tasmania.

Oh dear that is so very sad. Wiping out an entire people because they were viewed as unworthy/expendable. SIGH. People can be wonderful and kind. Too many are the opposite. Why are they the leaders I wonder? Thank you for your reply Sbf. I'm gonna ask a question about which leader is the toughest baddest? Why?
