Does double jeapordy prevent Andrea Constand from suing Cosby for even more money after already receiving a settlement?

If not she should bake that #MeToo woman a cake and send donations.

I think that is just in criminal cases, but I'm not positive.

The bad news for Cosby is this puts his fortune in jeopardy. The good news for him is he won't need it spending his remaining years in prison *sigh*.

Double Jeopardy is only relevant in criminal law.   A previous settlement may or may not prohibit a civil action depending on what was in the settlement.
