If you would be on a prowl to "catch" a partner for love/life, where would your eyes go first spotting a candidate?

With me is the gait, eyes and overall appearance. That said, I hope I have fired up your imagination or memories of real experiences.

  • According to your answer - Love is accessed via Stomach. In German: Liebe geht durch den Magen.  But most of the time there is a spark somehow, which is initiated by the eyes??

  • A spark, eh.  Sounds more like lust. Perhaps Flip Wilson's definition of love is more what you're talking about ...

Love is the feeling you feel
    When you're about to feel
    A feeling you've never felt before!  ... Flip  :))

  • My mother told me once, when I asked her what Love is:   Love is a funny feeling in the stomach area. I must have been 11 at that time.... This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at August 13, 2018 11:41 AM MDT

Actually, in retrospect I recall feeling it both higher and lower---One location involved blood flow and the other was primarily a neurotransmitter storm.

Edit---changed the to they This post was edited by tom jackson at August 13, 2018 11:41 AM MDT

  • Thanks, tom. Good thing your feelings settled where they settled. Neurotransmitter storm is not seen by the outside world, but the lower location would have afforded the use of both hands to look "normal"

  • Bruce Springsteen:   There is no fire without a spark! Why being on the prowl when there is no lust to be lusty???

Her eyes...is she looking at me the same way I am looking at her? One raised eyebrow and head tilt is all it takes

  • You know this game well, eyes are a powerful peek into the soul. If the eye contact is a bit longer, there comes the lip lick into play and gasping for air.......

I say "she". I am totally sexist. It has to be a woman. NO SUBSTITUTES!
