I think net relationships are one thing and real in-person relationships quite another. Those people I came to know on another site that I did meet - things really did not work out very well. At least in the long run. When we consider people we know on the net we tend to supply a lot of the missing data through our imaginations. So I think we build up a false image of them and one that they or anyone could not live up to. I am one person in what I post on here but people in meeting me might see quite another side of me they would find quite plain and much less attractive. So why ruin a perfectly good net relationship by the reality of face-to-face contact? At least that is how I see it. So I have in the last few years refused to meet any net friends which has very much hurt some of them.
