    Yes, I had to climb in a window once; my toddler locked me outside and I was in my nightgown.  What a day!

    No but something similar.  We have a battery operated combination lock on our front door.  While we were away last summer the battery had died and our daughter needed to get in.  We had to ask her to throw a brick through one of the windows and unlatch it.  She didn't have a key to override the electronic lock.

    locked the keys inside
    had to use a pry bar at the door.
    now I hide a key in the garage.

    Yep.
    First day of owning one house, they gave me the wrong keys.
    I had to use a crowbar to pry open one of the windows.

    They did.
    They knew the house had sold, and I was unloading stuff into the house ... so they came over to see if I was the new owner.
