Isn't that like a beefy thingy? I looked it up and the dictionary says marmite is " a metal or earthenware cooking pot with a cover, usually large and often having legs". But I have heard of some food thing by that name as well. What is it exactly Malizz? Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday! :)
The beefy thing is Bovril. Marmite may look similar but is a proprietory yeast extract with a sharp taste, you either liked or loathed. When I was wee, I fattened myself up on Virol, a malt extract. The nearest I got to Nutella was peanut butter, which of course lacks the cocoa.
It's a thick chocolate hazelnut spread Zack and it's usually in the grocery store by the jams, jellies, nut butters. It's quite good and very addictive. I had a friend who spent a few months in Europe and she said that was the spread she saw everywhere in people's homes. Like Americans have peanut butter Europeans have Nutella. Now I have never been to Europe so that is second-hand info. I never verified it! Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)
