If you suffer a harm why would you pay that harm forward and inflict it on others? Is that a logical normal human just thing to do? Why?

I understand those who want to pay back those who harmed them. I don't support it but I understand it. What makes no sense to me is "payback" in the form of paying forward to the innocent who never harmed them. Is revenge so sweet that it doesn't matter whatsoever on whom one inflicts it....guilty or innocent is all the same and matters naught? Because?

    Not everyone takes revenge on an individual basis. Sometimes people blame a group collectively and consider all members of that group to be deserving of retribution. In some people this collective blaming extends to society as a whole so their vengeance could land anywhere. Some people have narcissistic personality disorder. They have a massive sense of entitlement to the admiration of others and simply failing to give it to them may provoke vengeance. Someone like Elliot Rodger is prime example.

    People who have suffered greatly at the hands of others may feel weak, dominated, and have extremely low self esteem. They feel that a person of worth would have been able to defend themselves. Men are especially vulnerable to this since a weak man is not really considered a man. A weak woman is still a woman. They desire to reclaim their power. They may be tempted to abuse random people who have never done them any harm out of a need to feel strong and dominant. This is why the abused often become abusers.     You can see how people change/grow outwardly over time. But what makes their brains develop as they do? Was don juan born that way? Did his parents make him that way? Did his social skills or lack thereof force him to become what he is? I read that his IQ  is 157. I have seen nothing yet to indicate such a high level of intelligence. Why does he dumb down if he is at a genius level? Is he an evil genius? Rather than be repelled by him the folks who support him take great delight in him. How can that logically be? He embodies all that we have been taught to reject and yet his poll numbers are rising. What kind of folks don't care about Russia, don't care about his enriching himself, bragging all the time, attacking all the time and undermining what America used to mean?  If he is an evil genius...hopefully an anomaly...why do so many millions cheer him on? I think Dante would have had to create a separate special He** for them. I don't think that don juan He** would need to be multi-level. I don't see any differentiation among don juan supporters. No higher or lower degree of abnormality. No matter what awful others had done to deserve a  place in the Inferno non-don supporters wouldn't deserve being put among don juan supporters. Even in He**. SIGH. But I digress. I dunno what Dante would have thought of  don juan but it would have been nice if the don had been born in Dante's time, not ours.
