I'd like for her to be alive.  Anything she cooked was really pretty spectacular.

Condolences that she isn't there with you Sharon. I think that's the main sorrow of growing older. Loved ones die. Thank you for your reply. It looks delish! Lasagna?

Oh dear. Anything banana and I'm there! Bless her heart! My grandmother and mom were both great cooks. I wonder if that is a talent that is becoming antiquated? I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply and the awfully cute graphic Sharon. Where do you get all of them? Always on point/on target. Amazing! :)

My Mum was awesome at making Christmas pudding, and nothing else compares.... She also made awesome quiches and was famous for her fruit cake, and I was fond of her steak and kidney pie.

All of that sounds awesome Addb. Is the "Christmas pudding" to which you refer plum pudding? I had it once decades ago and the hostess served it with an orange "hard sauce". I still remember how scrumptious it was! I made fruit cake once when I was 15 and it turned out rather well. I'm the only one I know who loves fruitcake but I guess I no longer am since you mention your mom's! Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday to thee! :)
