You mentioned Mobius strip awhile back on another thread. Are you particularly fascinated by them sweetie? Just sitting here now as I let my mind wander around you know what fascinates me always most consistently? The Aurora Borealis. I'm not kidding. Of all the things I've ever seen (sadly never in person) that is the one most awesome wondrous and breathtaking of all. I know it's all scientific and not magic but it sure looks magical to me! Thank you for your reply D and Happy Saturday to thee! :)
There are between 100 and 200 BILLION galaxies in the universe D. There are black holes. There is dark matter which no one has ever seen but it is assumed is out there everywhere.. Earth is one teeny tiny itsy bitsy speck of sand. About 40 years ago a guy named Carl Sagan wrote a book and had a TV series entitled COSMOS. In there he told us that we made of star stuff. The other day on the Science Channel (which I watch all the time) astrophysicists said the exact same thing. Everyone and everything on earth came from the stars. No exception. We are all made of star stuff. You might say they are our most ancient ancestors. Within all of that fantastic "truth" will always be a question. How did the exploding stars and debris out there turn into you and me? Seriously. Is that not beyond fantastic? So we try to figure out what life is all about and I think we will never know the true purpose. We are either a consequent "accident" or we were predetermined and planned and the result of superbrilliant genius! Take your pick. Thank you for your thoughtful reply D! :)
Every known thing is made up of atoms Rosie.....at the last count some where around 115 different ones... Every thing animal, vegetable and mineral are made up of all these atoms and al in their own individual ways to make them what they are.... Some where out there in the great beyond is one or many exact replicas of me and you....as there is for every living ,growing ,inanimate objects on this planet.....
I to watch science and nature programs .. They just fascinate me .....I watch so many that remembering everything percisely is often impossible ...... I do try though ,but being blonde doesn't help.....I just can't for the life in me keep my serious side switched on permanently....lol
Im watching a prog about Pluto right now.....it takes 248 years to orbit the sun.... It travles 23billion miles on its round trip to...:)
We all allegedly have doppelgangers elsewhere somewhere. Exact duplicates/replicas of us. There is also the many worlds theory. Every decision you could possibly you make and it is a different you living in another elsewhere that lives out that life. Mindboggling isn't it? That is the stuff of fantasy/imagination/inventiveness that often leads us to another iteration of reality. Will we ever reach the REAL ACTUAL HONEST TRUE? I doubt it. At least not on this plane. Somewhere out there futurely? Hopefully. What I can't comprehend is that there are 100 to 200n BILLION galaxies out there in our Universe. There are things out there we haven't discovered yet but will. Many of the discoveries change our entire perceptions and beliefs. We don't know yet what we don't know because how can anyone know the extent of their ignorance? Keeping an open mind. Nurturing curiosity. Refusing to accept lies or gibberish for any reason. Keep putting one foot in front the other and you move forward because any other directions gets you nowhere. You don't have to be serious 24/7 D. It's my serious. My default mode. Serious. I was a very serious child and I am a very serious adult. Mostly. I have my "blonde" moments. Just ask Jim. Thank you for your reply D! :) I have never been a bottle blonde. That would be my only choice since I was born with dark brown hair. I just thought of another question. You'll recognize it! ((hugs))
I just wondered honey if there is a diff in the result. I can't tell. I take such things at face value so when I see a blonde I think she always was one. Now of course if some gals need dye jobs and you can see the dark roots that is a dead give-away. How much harm does bleaching do to hair? It seems very harsh to me and repeatedly doing it for decades must come at a cost beyond the financial. Just musings.
My hair is like my mums and she's jogging on a bit now and in her fifties....her hair is still soft and maybe not as blonde as mine is still....she has never bleached or dyed it.... As a baby I would always always play with her hair as she breast fed me.... I've seen many pics of me/us all of our mother feeding us all...It's just pure magic to see the photos and videos of her feeding us.... The look of contentment on our faces is amazing....apparently I use to pat my mums boobs as I fed....lol.
Very cute. So you take after your mum. Pictures of me when I was about 4 look very much like pictures of my mom when she was the same age. You got comfort from your mum when you were very young and I expect she still comforts her adult daughter with kind caring loving words when you need them from someone you can trust! Thank you for your reply D! :)
