    Of course they did. There is no reason for a private company to be compelled to do business with anyone unless they have a monopoly or near monopoly. It's completely anti libertarian.

    The left go on about equality all the time but are incapable of creating a system of equal rights. They always selectively apply their principles. As if a gay baker would ever be compelled to make a cake for the Westboro baptist church with a "God Hates Fags" caption on it.

    The left allows the rights of groups it likes to trump the rights of groups it doesn't. The politically correct hierarchy goes something like Muslims, Gays, Minorities, Women, and at the very bottom of the hierarchy is the Christian conservative white male.

    Notice how charges are never brought against a Muslim baker for doing the same thing. It has nothing to do with gay rights. It's about bashing Christians because the left hates Christianity. The Muslims are left alone because the left has allied itself with radical Islam and wouldn't want to offend them.
