I'm surprised this has no answers. It seems to me that peace times are few and far between. Just little respites to catch our breaths and re-arm for the next war.

About 12,000 years ago there were about two million people living in the Indus Valley (about where the bible says Eden was) and they had no preparations for war. They tended gardens, painted pots, played flutes and stuff like that. One day they all got up and went away, and the world has had continuous war ever since.

    Yup.

If you can't live with someone ... just leave.
    No need to kill them.

You miss the point. People get bored and decide to go kill something.

The only one that can and will bring lasting peace is God Almighty through his appointed king and Lord Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 9:6,7)
