It can be a pass-time - just a way of destressing. We sometimes judge relaxation and leisure time as laziness, which isn't fair, because we all need at least some each day to reflect, learn, unwind, and simply enjoy being alive.
I don't think it's ever a disease, but too much sloth can lead to obesity and disease.
Within the limits of our abilities, or trying to stretch a bit further, we do need to accomplish certain things every day. If we don't, our quality of life can go downhill.
A spiritual condition of having no knowledge of purpose and therefore no drive. The Most High sets your purpose.
