what are the chances a colostomy is cancer?




      I have to have one done cause a home kit turned out positive. what are the chances that its cancer? just wondered

    It sounds like you're having a colonoscopy done, not a colostomy.  They will look to see if there are any polyps and if there are, they will remove them and do a biopsy to see of they are malignant.  Many times, they are not cancerous, but your doctor is the one who should be consulted on this, not the Internet.
