Oh I know their motivations and what they are thinking which is all too often petty and self-serving. Still we can't do without them so we just have to embrace and love them whatever.
I find people endlessly fascinating. I am an avid people-watcher. The breadth and variety of their tastes, habits and idiosyncrasies, their cultures, what drives them and why, makes this an interesting world.
Oftentimes, such observations bring me a greater appreciation of where I am in my own life. No matter how bad things might seem on a given day, one need not search very far to find another worse off.

You made me smile so much! I use those exact words, 'I find people endlessly fascinating' - we share similar thought processes I think :)
I love people watching too, I love talking to people, finding out about them, what makes them tick, what they hate, what they love, how they feel.. And even just to observe you can learn so much.
I have always been the curious type, even from a very young age, and people are one of the most curious topics on the planet. The majority of the questions I post on here are an example of how my curiosity plays out.
