You may have to downgrade to hyphens . (-) They require less ink and physical effort to make. And none of that damn French curve crap. Plus with a hyphen, you can better understand it's function.

((((Hmmmm, I wonder if the real Randolph D would stoop to addiction counseling? Rewrite this scene to show him overcoming the problem through self-perseverance, and while you're at it, work in some kind of angle wherein by the last reel, he ends up with the Jane S character. She'd want it that way . . . ))))
