Folks ridiculed Hillary for saying "it takes a village to raise a child". Well it took a "village" to elect King don. Ironic?

Everyone knew he didn't have the RIGHT STUFF to be president. Everyone says so. Believe me. Trust me. He was so inept and impotent and talentless that he needed a zillion different "helpers" worldwide to make sure he'd be elected. I'm sure all those "helpers" are very proud of themselves. If you are one aren't you?

The saying it takes a village to raise a child isn't Hilary's so really when they criticised her for saying that - then this just shows stupidity on their part. It probably also shows a remarkable ignorance about how important the future generations are to every country..

Yes, it took some very special help to get the most ignorant, most uncouth pile of revolting slime to be prez.. but those who were so easily duped were just as bad..

It took Russia and some Arabic countries as well as all the homophobes and racists and white supremacits. it took liars and traitors and those who committed treason and hopefully will be imprisoned for it. An astonishing array of villains and thieves and crooks and bad guys. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday to thee Addb! :)

You don't even understand what the phrase means. The left can't tell the difference between the cooperation of individuals and collectivism. Pathetic.

Cooperation is when individuals CHOOSE to work together to accomplish a SHARED GOAL. If at anytime an individual decides they don't agree with goals of the others they are free to leave. Cooperation is when a group exists to serve and empower individuals. Collectivism is the opposite. It's when individuals exist to serve and empower a group.

Society doesn't collectively raise children. The idea that it does is offensive and denies parental rights. Hillary was not "ridiculed" for saying it. She was attacked for being a communist ****. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at June 18, 2018 1:08 PM MDT

Quote, ' You don't even understand what the phrase means. ' What utter tosh..  You have no way of knowing what Rosie, or anyone else knows and understands.. anyone saying that would discredit themselves right there.  Illogic is one of my bug bears.. when people spout such things it makes me cringe.. at the utter lack of ability to apply logic and seemingly to understand diddly..  It discredits...

You then launch into one of your leftist rants..  again it discredits you and what you say.. It lacks commonsense and logic.

Common sense and logic is not the strong suit of King don worshippers and truth is an unknown Addb. Sadly. :( There is a singular arrogance  that connects all King don lovers. An assumption they are all so much smarter then those who despise him. Therein likes an irony beyond which there is none greater. The smarter you think you are the more stupid dumb you prove yourself to be. Witness King don the topnotch stupid dumb! :(

While I was confident that I could understand the word "tosh" in context; after looking up the meaning online, utter tosh has now become one of my favorite phrases.

Afraid not.. And I am left wondering here... you are agreeing with Zeity on what? This person insulted me, and has done often before.. and you are smiling and saying spot on... I am wondering whether you are approving of his insulting me?  Or something else?  No need to answer but I thought I would just point that out..  This post was edited by Adaydreambeliever at June 18, 2018 2:19 AM MDT

Just goes to show me that when one simply is patient and listens, so much becomes more understandable to me.

Thank you for clearing that up. But oh gosh I am shocked that Hilary is a secret commie.. She is disguising that very well I think because the Ruskies sabotaged her campaign and made it clear they wanted Trump to win.. I am guessing that was just to fool us.

She is a socialist. But she is also a war hawk....much more so than Trump.
Russians wanted US so fight and loose faith in the electoral process.  They succeeded in at least the fighting.  Looking at their ads purchased on FB and other places shows they tooks both sides of issues firing up sensitive issues. Gun rights, BLM, Sanders LGBT, Not my Pres, Nazi junk, etc. And many were bought AFTER the election.....to make us fight.

Thank you for offering your thoughts on this, I am always willing to listen and learn. I get most of my *opinions* on America and Trump directly from Americans and backing this up with the Times newspaper.
I will confess, I know next to nothing about Hilary, other than that she is married to her husband the ex prez, who has quite a reputation in his own right..

My logical nature tells me that whenever we say, she is a war hawk or something similar - this can only really be opinion or conjecture as she wasn't elected.. Trump was... and he has offended half the world, not only with the tariffs, (the broad ethos of which I have some sympathy with but concerns on an economic and goodwill level) but in calling other countries very offensive names and belittling other leaders, (including Theresa May). He has angered several nations to the point where it nearly started a war.. and it's also true to say that military action has resulted under Trump's presidency. What's hard at this point is to say whether Hilary would have been worse in that respect.. we can't know..

I've no idea if she is a socialist.. not really even sure what the term means there.. I think it means here someone who values equality and fairness?

I worry about the Russian influence.. I worry a lot.. I don't think it should ever be underestimated and I have said that what concerns me a lot is that American democracy is sacrosanct.. one of the things some of the world still look up to.. It's horrible that they were allowed to interfere. I Know they try on a daily basis to interfere in the UK... so far their impact has been not that successful..
