Do you think that establishment of globalization would improve living conditions for millions of people?

And it would help if you (and everyone else of course) is willing to share your living space with a few people seeking refuge from impoverished/war torn countries.

Equality of living standards. My place is roomy enough and putting in 3 tier bunk beds I could take in about a dozen people. I'm sure we could all get along somehow.

No. IMO the conditions inherent in our nature prevent it.
Greed, envy, distrust, religion, freedom of expression, partisanship, pride, cowardice and lust for power would all have to be winnowed out to foster the mass compliance necessary.
Those in positions of influence will seek to exclude themselves, as always.

That said, I for one don’t much care for the idea, it kinda smells like communism, or Islam.

Definition of globalization: the act or process of globalizing: the state of being globalizedespecially: the development of an increasingly integrated global economy marked especially by free trade, free flow of capital, and the tapping of cheaper foreign labor markets. (Merriam Webster)

If you use that original meaning, globalization would lean towards being unsustainable today. Mainly because of the ecological costs of transportation. Also, with its incompatibility with the carrying capacities of our natural ecosystems so I would have to say no to the first part of your question. If in the second part of your question, you are suggesting that "everyone" give of their resources to all of those who have little to nothing, then you're suggesting a Socialist or Communistic type government. To that, I would have to say absolutely not. Individuals wanting to help others is fine, I do it myself, but to try to force all to do it is unacceptable. :)
