  • Yep, that's why that admonition to love those who spitefully use you is so difficult to stay in line with. I've always been a man that's willing to find a diplomatic solution, but if I get physically attacked, the fight's on.

    Yeah, but when you pull your pants down to offer that cheek, someone usually calls the cops.  (FYI - claiming that you were simply turning the other cheek won't get you out of an indecent exposure citation.)

    Yes, but if you turned the other cheek, and got assaulted again, you can get the assailant on two assault charges.
