I've had an interesting assortment of gun owner neighbors. A former neighbor hunted rabbits out in the fields around the area. He said his family ate every one and they were good eatin'. Another neighbor target practices often. He is a Viet Nam vet. Then there is a cop who target shoots in his basement range.
Since I live on a farm I and my neighbors live on farms I expect they know I can grow my own food just like I expect they do the same. Also, I don't need to talk about how many guns I own with them. I expect they also own guns and I'm pretty sure they expect that I also own them. I'd be surprised if someone who lives near me didn't have guns.
