If, at the start of a relationship, you had guarantees that it would be for the rest of your life, would you take that guarantee or?

Do you prefer to let things take their course, to take risks and uncertainty as part of the path?

    I used to want the security of that guarantee.
    The problem is that sometimes people change and the relationship can become unhealthy.
    Now that I'm older, I would rather just live in the moment more.
    Enjoy people while it lasts and whatever's meant to be will be.

    Very wise... I think i would be the opposite. Now I am older the disappointments and let down seems worse. At the same time however, I know there are no guarantees... even someone you think could never hurt you can. This post was edited by Adaydreambeliever at June 27, 2018 9:13 AM MDT
