If we imagine the Earth to be a peach with a gravity pull up from all directions on its core making the very center weightless would it

be apt to call the core a "Bottomless Pit"?

    Not unless the gravity was perfectly and evenly distributed in an exact globe with the same thickness all around.  Of course would could not live on the outer core and it would be hard to breathe in the center of the earth. we could always poke straws through for ventilation. (an uneducated guess)
