"It isn't easy being green". A melancholy song sung by Kermit* the Frog. We have an orange prez . Is Orange the new Green? How easy is it?

*Kermit the Frog of Muppets' fame. His gal pal was Miss Piggy. Wonder if they ever got married off camera? Hope they are living happily ever after. I mean  frog and a pig fall in love. What are they supposed to do? Fuggeddaboutit because they are different animal speciesl"? Any babies would be frigs or progs. Kinda cute.

    When I was about 8, my mother cut down a pair of my father's bright orange pants for me to wear to school. We were very poor in those days. The bullies surrounded me at once and started making fun of my bright orange pants. Later in life, I began using the color as my 'racing team' colors when I started racing motorcycles. My helmet, leather racing suit, gloves, motorcycle, truck, and girlfriend's lipstick were all orange!

    Orange was my younger sister's favorite color. I remember one year on her birthday I gave her a bright orange silk scarf and she treasured it. She never dyed her hair orange. She never wore orange lipstick or orange nailpolish. She never used orange makeup. She was not an orange girl. King don is an orange man. Whether you find it attractive or not is up to you. I have a small orange swan candy dish which I treasure. My son gave it to me when he was 5. He saved up allowance money and asked a friend of mine to go with him to a "parent's present store" and gave it to me at Christmas My friend said Rich(my son) was so excited when he saw it.  I use it daily. It is where I put my rings and what I wear around my neck when we leave the house. A chain on which I have a miniature gold unicorn that he gave me on my 45th birthday is  on that chain.     Orange is 'cute'.  My grandmother insisted that her kids wear orange clothing on Easter and St. Patrick's Day to defy the Catholic Church. ( Northern Protestants in Ireland wore orange as a protest against the Catholic Church, while the southern Irish wore green and adhered to the Vatican.)
