It weighed more heavily on my mind until they were actually found. Now I worry that they may have to stay there for months until the monsoons are over. It has to be terrible for them, but the kids look calm. Can you imagine if they were American kids?
Am I allowed to smile at that? I hadn't thought of it that way. Even though the stranded boys in the novel are British -- I still get your point. :) I don't mean to be overly-detailed -- it's just that the book seemed very British to me somehow. :)
