My carefully laid plan was to leave for work early so I could have time to make a quick visit to someone in an office building. When getting on the elevator somehow my car keys slid out of my hand and dropped through that narrow space between the main floor and the floor of the elevator.  Late for work 'course.

  • Heh heh. I can relate to that worse. One time I was getting off the subway car stepping onto the platform and didn't realize I picked up my cloth bag sideways and my tablet and keys fell down on the tracks between the platform crack. I didn't think and stayed in the train planning to come back from one stop and realized I should have wait for the train to pass. It was dark night and when I got to the scene I could not find exactly where it fell and to add insult to injury it was in a black cloth bag that was indistinguishable from the night.
There went 55 bucks. I went to the lost and found for days but no go! This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at July 6, 2018 9:04 AM MDT
