How many Muggers have you developed close enough relations with to reveal your real names to each other?

In private correspondence, which there is not much of on this site (at least I have had very little),  I always use my first name.  But I do think as close as we may think we become on the net lacking the physical dimension it is always never going to be as close as we may think it is or wish it is.  So I have been very careful about revealing my  last name (which changed when I married), my address, my telephone number, where I work, etc.  Because one of the reasons I can be as open and honest as I am no here is because I know my privacy and that of my husband and family or where I work, is protected.

Hi, Wisdom Tooth! Once in a while I am present here to check what my friends are doing. Sent you a friend request in the hope that you remember me. Since I am an "open book" in the internet, I do not hesitate to tell my first name. Many old AB'ers know it - Karin. If you wish to call me that, you can do it, otherwise I am totally satisfied with "Whitehair" - sounds wise and....a little sexy..... Hehe...

I haven’t been here long enough to establish friendships. I’m a private person and I’m hesitant to become personal online. I rarely become close to people in real life.
