We are mostly in agreement on that certain “person of note” and the misled who stand with him; but having met Rhodes Scholars and known others of similar caliber in my time, I’m convinced neither of us are geniuses.

You’re plenty smart enough. I applaud your sand as well.
If you’ll indulge me, I assess the difference between wisdom and genius like this:
Wisdom is a function of what one knows; genius is a process of how one thinks. I suspect a touch of genius flashes from each of us from time to time, but holding a wrench won’t make us a mechanic, if you get my meaning.
I like the SAND part. A lot of people hate me on here. I am just like this in real life too. Just not so in your face. I am not a scrapper. But I have a way of getting my point across when things like racism and just offensive behavior is concerned.
Anyway, I hope I am not sandy in the sense of hurting people. I don't want to.
I love the quote. It was very well put.
Genius is that spark of Divinity that causes awe and inspiration as to what we are truly capable of.
Some can hold that spark and shine it in many different areas.
I am more like an Idiot Savant.
I just vomit out brilliance here and there and when it is recognized, I claim it.
I haven’t been on here long enough to assess you and your intelligence. I know im far from book smart, but I have common sense. In my line of work common sense is far more valuable.
Common sense is more like the foundation. If you don't have that, it doesn't matter what else you offer. Without sense god gave a goose, you are lost in space.
