A Oklahoma State Univ. study showed that you can give bees a buzz with small amounts of alcohol.. The low does of ethanol disrupted the normal social (and even non-social) behaviors of the hive.
Hence the phrase, "Drunk as a June bug."
You probably just never been that drunk.
It will die. I'd imagine there is some microscopic amount that would not harm it but it would not even be seen by the naked eye. That would be some REALLY small cocktail glass you'd need to find to put it in.
Of course, all the bees' stuff is tiny, proportional to their bodies. You've seen "Bee Movie", right?
