If "the enemy" were to destroy power grids during times of extreme heat or extreme cold worldwide how many people would die?

A bloodless attack without weapons. No military needed. No plans for mass attacks. Just take out all the power .With the hot getting hotter and staying longer and the cold getting colder (how long will THAT last) wouldn't that be a perfect way wage a war?

Can you imagine how hot it would get if the Russians hacked the power grid to the coolant pools that are used to keep used nuclear fuel rods cool so they won't  explode. They have emergency diesel generators but for all we know those systems could also be hacked and are now useless.  There are coolant pools all across America so if they go it wold kill millions. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at July 26, 2018 9:05 AM MDT
