Have you and or would you take a bullit for your pet?

In a sense I've already taking many bullets  for my dog - sometimes when he expels air and someone say's he stinks I'll say - um that was me.  But I wouldn't take bullet for him and I think he would understand because he heard me promise my Granddaughter that I will be around to do the Robot at her wedding so he wouldn't want to jeopardise that. Cheers!

My pet could take its own bullet and survive..even taking one for me.

Ya they would need a 50 cal. to take out your pet and I'm sure it would understand if you had to use it as a projectile to save your life. Cheers!

I am trying to envision why and how this scenario would ever come true.  Not having any luck,  I will speculate.  Knowing me, as I do, I would say, yes.  I would.
I have never been big enough to take the punishment of admitting I passed stinky gas when it was them.  Normally they get blamed if someone else does it in the room!  You are bigger than I am by a long shot. ;D! :D!

What's a bullit? Perhaps you mean BULLET. Why do so many folks on here (not just you) have trouble with basic, elementary school level spelling?

Content is always more important to me than spelling. Some people who are even gifted level of intelligence cannot spell - so I take a much more humble approach and value what people say rather than whether the spelling is ok. For me, I know what the poster said, it didn't take a genius to work it out, I am more than capable - so it really didn't and wouldn't ever matter to me.. I've never really got why some people get all het up about it.

Different people value different things, and that's the case here. Incorrect spelling, grammar et al bother me, perhaps because I've seen it in professional (ie journalistic) settings as a writer and editor. To me, correct use of language and clear, concise writing are indicative of sharp intellect and care for detail, to both of which I believe all of us should aspire. I will never understand those who don't make the little extra effort for correctness as it really is just as easy to get it right as to be wrong.

I agree with you to an extent. This is a casual Q&A site. I don’t feel the need for grammar police on here and sites like this one. I guess we can agree to disagree. As long as I can understand what someone is saying I don’t mind.

Hi Stu Bee ~ :)  You remind me of my Grammie.  She taught English for high school students and proper spelling was very important to her.  The same when we spoke.  She always said it shows how you respect yourself and the people around you.  She would have disliked that sentence because I needed to come after the other people.  Big smiles.  We all have pet-peeves.  If this is one of yours, so be it.  I respect your way of thinking and Adaydreambelievers along with Rizzes.  Each to their own.  I'm getting off this subject before it becomes a "subject," again.  See you on another, soon, I hope! :) :) This post was edited by Merlin at August 15, 2018 6:48 PM MDT
