IMO - Pedophiles come from all walks of life. They're only helpless in having good morals/sense which causes them to commit crimes of this moral turpitude nature... They are predators.
I have never known one, personally, so I cannot say first hand. But I do have the most hostile, distaste, disgust, obnixously over-riding and unbelievably, way beyond your wildest expectations absolute hatred for them, I am going to say, yes. I think you put it quite well. I just got a little over anxious. My behavior needs a little checking. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and I DO BITE when it comes to this subject. There absolutely is NO excuse. Take them behind the barn and shoot them. They are a waste of oxygen.
No, that's really not the case at all..For a start there's no connection with alcoholism and it's not poor impulse control.. it's a preference for pre-pubescent in other words KIDS
