Nope. I don't watch or participate in sports to feel 'in.' I lettered in cross country when I was in HS specifically BECAUSE it wasn't 'in.' :-)
You don't watch to to feel 'in'. I don't imply people do sports to feel 'in'. It's just that people gravitate towards certain sports because of society, friends, interest and more. It feels familiar and fun.
I really wish I could relate. :-) I mean, I will watch football if everyone else in the room is watching, but if I had my druthers I'd rather watch women's gymnastics or women's rugby. :-D
