.
This morning, I needed to call my pharmacy to see if my presciption was ready. Instead of grabbing one of my pill bottles and reading the phone number off of it, I looked it up on the Internet (because my laptop was right there and my pill bottles were across the room...;-D....)
Good point!
Of course, it has also connected me to the Usual Suspects. I guess you have to take the bad with the good....;-D....
LMAO Just wait. In a few hours, answerMug will be the top site for for "Are we becoming too dependent upon the Internet for everything?" and then we'll be in the twilight zone. Circling around in a loop of non-answers. O_o
Hey, if it drives some revenue to Answermug, I will be proud to be the reason for it....;-D...
No. Actually you have taken the worse with the bad.
I think they are just the bad and I am the even worse. Just go with it. We both know it is true.
seems that way sometimes
That happened a long time ago. I'm surprised you didn't HAVE TO refill your prescription online. It's amazing you can still call anyone.
I've watched movies on Netflix when I own the DVD of the exact same movie because I was too lazy to put in the DVD.
I´ve done the same thing.
YES!
LOL You should do a cartoon strip, Mr. Bromie.
It would not make you a dime though because you would do it online. Then you would get ripped off and the copyright infringement is a bitch to sue for.
Nevermind.
It would not have occurred to me to use the computer for that. But yes, people depend on technology way too much. When the lights go out a few of us will still be in business.
Any stories to share?
@Mr. B -- OK, that tops my Internet-as-crutch story. OTOH, I've lately been listening to music on YouTube because I packed away my CDs and I'm not sure where they are...;-D...
It's comforting to hear I'm not the only one turning into one of the Tubs of Goo from Wall-E...;-D...
If "the lights go out" for any length of time, the loss of Internet will be relatively low on our problem list.
How about using the Internet to find some supporting evidence for your statement?...;-D....
In more than one of my college classes, some young students were texting each other even though they were 10-15 feet away from each other...;-D...
Because I'm too lazy too! Takes up too much time. ;-D
I've done that too, but because I didn't feel like finding the music files on a removable hard drive I have sitting right next to my computer.
