    No ... but I have gotten sick from drinking a cold beverage too fast on a hot day.

    I came close. I had severe heat exhaustion. I was working a double shift at the prison from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM during the extreme heat and humidity of the summer. I ended up being driven home by a coworker during shift. I went to the doctor rhe next day and I had to have a shot for nausea. I was also prescribed Zofran. I was off work for a week.

    A touch two or three weeks ago ,I was doing a bit of gardening with no hat on and with the breeze blowing on me,it was much hotter than I thought....after 1-2 hours I bagan to feel sick and week ....:(

  • Sometimes my eyes even black out and I find myself feeling my way to hurry to sit down.  I still get horrible headaches from my last.  I dislike being addicted to Excedrin Migraine.  It works, though.

    Cover up always when in the sun.... My parents were always smothering me in sun oil and when I turned one I honestly believed they were trying to cook me....:(

    Im a natural blonde and have to keep my skin well covered which is a shame really as I like a little bit of a healthy looking tan....just a tiny bit so I don't look to anemic ...not that I ever do...:)

  • "No" ... close, I think, but once you've been heat struck it makes you very sensitive to heat and I'm not that.  :)

  • I'll bet!  I had a friend, that I used to ride with, that was heat struck and he had to be very careful about the heat.

  • No. I grew up in an area where temperatures regularly get above 100 in the summer. I learned to be more cautious on those days.
