    A most beautiful book.
    Did you know there are two versions?
    one version he tells of his sexual arousal
    that happened during meditation
    the other version it is omitted.
         When I was in India,
    having a two week stay at one 
    of his hospitals, they gave me
    the original version to read...quite interesting.
       He was such an amazing person
    establishing many schools that included
    a deep spiritual base that tied everything together.
    ...Real Schools that included the deep Spiritual connection....

    He might be the most followed guru of the hippie generation.
    I've met loads of people who took to his book forty years ago and have followed the path of Kriya Yoga ever since.

    Did you ever explore other teachings or alternative spiritual paths?
    What attracted you to his teachings?
    How has the practice of Kriya Yoga benefited you?

  • The canyon is amazing!  I've been there many times.  Never took the burro tour to the bottom though.  Wonder if they still do that?

  • My two favorite places in the world are Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, right here in my home state of California. The beauty of the Yosemite Valley from Tunnel View is striking. My mom said the first time she saw it she teared up; I can understand that completely. The beauty of Lake Tahoe is not as dramatic, but when I was in Emerald Bay last year I felt like it was the closest you could get to paradise on Earth. :)
