  • "Jerry Lewis" ... (I know ... everybody hates him)

    How about "Victor Borge?"

Life would be boring if we all liked the same things.

  • Carlin is too "R" rated for me, but I did really like the "A Place for My Stuff" routine.

I understand. I’ve always been difficult to offend. Other than racial jokes and racism, nothing bothers me.

  • Racism should be left out of comedy acts by all because what's good for the goose won't always be good for the gander.  It can only die when we give it the okay.

  • There's a lot of different styles of comedy. I can't imagine anyone liking them all.

I have a broad sense of humor. From slapstick to dead pan, to dry, etc. There isn’t much I don’t laugh at. I’m not a fan of British Humor like Monty Python. Just isn’t funny to me.

For me, it's a toss-up between George Carlin and Robin Williams.

After all these years I still laugh hysterically at The Three Stooges.

  • I always found Steven Wright's dry, emotionless humor very entertaining.

Bill Cosby, Richard Prior (spelling?), George Carlin - all very funny.  Ellen DeGeneres was quite good as a stand-up comic. But I remember seeing on TV a young probably unknown man oh 30 years ago who did a routine about a kid who had adult reactions which was the single most funny thing I have ever seen.
