    Both good but I would pass on them as I try to avoid as much dairy as possible.

    You can veganize soups pretty easily with cashew (or other nut) milk and vegan butter.

    Exactly - thank you.  But to me they are still not the same thing.  If I really want a dairy soup I will have one on occasion- perhaps clam chowder (though I prefer it without milk or cream).  Rest of the time I stick to wholly vegetarian soups meaning not imitations of dairy soups.

      Just because dairy (or anything else) works well for one person or for many people doesn't automatically mean it works or will work for all others.
