"I have never heard of a dry hurricane" said by an Answermug friend. Now WHY would she say THAT?

Well here's why. She kindly provided us with verbatim quotes and a link of what super don said about Florence. Himself said it will be "tremendously big and tremendously wet". He said that more than once.

She observed that she had never heard of one that was dry. So I'm asking y'all have any of YOU ever heard of a dry hurricane?

    Maybe he wants to make people feel reassured and safe that due to the wetness of the hurricane there should be no danger of wildfires starting like in California.

    Maybe Kg. If you are being overwhelmed by 10-foot high surges of water and 40 inches of rain having any fires start is indeed less likely! Leave it to you to find that silver lining in the super don rain cloud! Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday! :)
