Does being LOUD, being RUDE, being HOSTILE preclude one from being honest, moral, GOOD?

Does being quiet, calm, measured, friendly preclude one from being deceitful, immoral, bad? When does packaging count and when doesn't it?

They are neither mutually inclusive of each other nor mutually exclusive of each other. Case in point: a group of anti-Trump protestors rabidly shout down a person who is trying to deliver a pro-Trump position. You applaud them because they side with you and with your viewpoints. The woman who confronted Senator Jeff Flake on the elevator over the issue of confirming Brett Kavanaugh for Supreme Court Justice was not quiet, calm, measured nor friendly. Her message is no less valid based on her deliver of it.

A person can be both. I'm quiet, calm, measured and friendly in most situations. When watching my fave football team and an umpire makes a decision I disagree with, all that goes right out the window and I revert to feral bogan. "You adjectival expletive of an  illegal, unprintable and highly improbable obscenity! Crawl back under your rock, you blind maggot!" - that's an expurgated version.

Oh sweetie me too! But that is in a private setting and you are doing it at the TV screen. I do that all the time. I'm sure I make Jim blush. But out in public in front of others or worse directed at others? Never gonna happen! I don't know where the words out of my mouth come from tell ya the truth. I musta heard somewhere, right? Thank you for your reply Sbf and Happy Saturday! Did you watch/listen to the entire performance of both Dr. Ford and Kav perchance? This post was edited by RosieG at September 29, 2018 6:14 AM MDT
