I like hot sauce and spice, but neither like my body. I have heartburn and acid reflux. Spicy foods are a no-no for me.

Sriracha. Mild heat and flavor, and it goes on anything.

  • It really depends on what type of food I'm eating. I like Tabasco with things like pizza and eggs. If I'm eating Asian food, I prefer Sriracha or Sambal (or pretty much any other Asian chili sauce/paste). If I'm eating Mexican food, then I like Tapatio or Cholula. I love spicy food of almost any type. Indian and Thai are probably my two favorites :)

I have my own recipe for home made hot sauce.  It's milder and less vinegary that bottled hot sauce.

I'm going to try and make some this year, but the peppers aren't ripened yet. This post was edited by Element 99 at October 4, 2018 10:34 AM MDT

The cheap Louisiana hot sauce is barely tolerable; Tabasco is too hot for me.  I don't use it often.  I like a little horseradish on a roast beef sandwich too.

Don't have a "brand"  but I prepare my own from ingredients I get at farm stands and supermarkets.  Green salsa and pico de gallo - chopped salsa.  Cut up tomatoes, jalapeno and serrano and cayenne peppers, onions, garlic, cilantro or tomatillos. Add a little salt or in summer lime juice and enjoy!

My wife couldn't eat it. She likes hot stuff, but one of her meds makes her mouth very sensitive. Sounds great, though.

When I cook, I don't use hot sauce. If someone wants it hot, they can use my tabasco.

  • I like the diablo sauce from Taco Bell.  They have a new tortilla chip with it, too.

The last time I went, all they had was the 'fire' sauce. I drink it from the packs. I'll have to get some diablo next time.
