This is the guy who accused Kavanaugh and Mark Judge of raping another woman on a boat while drunk. If convicted he could face 10 yrs in prison.

Don't know and don't care.  Best if the whole business was forgotten about.

I want whoever’s guilty to be charged. Whether it’s Kavanaugh, Blasey-Ford, or any other accusers. I don’t have much faith anyone will be prosecuted. I’m sick of the whole circus.

I would say it is not a circus but just a cheap peep show.

They usually don't do anything to those who have lied to Congress. We will see if this time is any different.

I doubt they will. I do see Trump going after Dr. Blasey-Ford.

If the Democrats have there way, even if there is no corroboration or evidence against Kavanaugh, he will be found guilty because in there way of doing things, those who they want to destroy, WILL be found guilty until proven innocent, instead of the other way around. This whole farse just shows how desperate the Democrats are to regain power. Its sick.

    Perhaps.

    I still believe Dr. Ford.

But irrespective of credibility, belief is and should be insufficient ground in law.

Why did the idiots not check first for veracity before putting these claims forward?

In a democracy, the legitimate and necessary role of an opposition is to scrutinize and question the proposed actions of the government. It's called "trying to keep the bastards honest".
It cuts both ways, irrespective of whether the "left" or the "right" is in power.
But woe to the fool who questions without solid evidence, because however well-intentioned, a false accusation will always backfire.

Gerrymanders aside, whenever the Dems next come to power, they will want to elect more liberal-minded judges, the tide will turn, and it will be the Republicans in opposition.

I believe she may have been attacked. I don't believe she has accused the right person.
The Dems abused her. Feinstien should have turned this into the committee in July. Then leaked it to the press. And her Feinstien referred attorney did not tell Dr Ford that the committee was willing to meet with her privately.

Ford is not the only accusation. There were about 5 that are easily proven false.

Yes, the Rep will oppose a liberal judge....that is how it works. (Gerrymandering does not apply. Senate is elected statewide and they are who confirm judges) But the Rep have not ran with false accusations on any Dem nominee without any evidence. Correct me if I am wrong.
