    I admit that I can be  a little too Mother Henish sometimes.  One of my nic names is Mother Hen because I'm always reminding buddies to bring a jacket because it might get cool later ( or other things like that). I'm kind of proud of the nic name but it's a little embarrassing being called Mother Hen when your on the Upper deck of the Rod and Gun tavern. Cheers and happy weekend!

  • Even then i don't think you should feel embarrassed about it. I think it's a wonderful thing.

    Well when you are sitting at a table on the Upper deck with guys with cool nic names like Mr. T  or Ack Ack and there is an announcement that there is a phone call for Mother Hen at the bar it's defiantly a bit embarrassing.  The Rod and gun is a bar that was established in 1886 for the hunters and fisherman in the area now it's more of a working man's bar - the  Upper Deck is were the Old school Local Yokels hang out and party like it is 1999.     I don't think there's such a thing as a little too fabulous. I think that's one of those things at the top of the list.

  • Controlling. It's a trait I picked up from my mom. Ugh. I've gotten better about it over the years now that I recognize when I'm doing it.
