And, yet, I still eat them. Ah, well . . . On the brighter side, I tend to only go through phases of eating them and then I stop for months or more.

Good for you.  All things in moderation.  I'm sure I will pick up a can or two sometime in the future.

I don't buy that kind of thing.  Ever.  I like potato chips and sometimes have a few at a party or if they come with a sandwich, but I don't buy any processed snack foods.

Yes, I've picked up on your healthy eating habits here and there around the site. I know I'd be better off eating like you do.
    :)
    Keep it up!

Some of them are simply sliced potatoes, oil, and salt.  That's the ingredient list.  The problem comes when you know that they use chemicals to remove the skins from those GMO potatoes.  Also the oil.  How old, what kind, etc.?  Also the potatoes, after having skins removed, go through dehydration before frying.  That's why you can't fry slice potatoes at home to make chips.  Many years ago we had a Bennigan's Restaurant back home and they put freshly fried homemade potato chips on every table when customers sat.  That is one of my favorite food memories.  I have never had potatoes anywhere else that tasted the same.  :)

Enjoy your sintered chips.  My mother loves Pringles too.

The Bennigan's sounds good for sure.

I think I may have exaggerated my question's wording. I don't eat them quite so often as I made it seem.
    :)
Yeah, but I do still like them.
