Oh my gosh Zack! That is awful! In fact it reminds me of a once upon a time long long long ago. A great uncle died and I think I was maybe 3? My mom lifted me up to look in the coffin and I remember begging her not to do it. Why she did so I shall never know but it really scared me. By the way. I guess you've noticed I took your dippidy doo and keep running with it. If it annoys you let me know and I'll stop. But it just seems so fitting and perfect Seriously. I can stop using it if you're sick and tired of seeing it Zack! Really I can. Thank you for your reply and Happy Halloween Wednesday! :)

Wow, Zack, that had to be really rough!
I'm sorry to hear you had that experience.

It may seem odd, but I can't remember any scary moments in my childhood. I sure I scared mom a few times with my antics and accidents.

Minor stuff. My sister and I set a garage on fire in Daytona. I ate some wild mushrooms. I had a couple of falls that involved a lot of blood.

So minor stuff includes setting a garage on fire? You sure did have a different childhood than I did m'dear. Was much damage done to the garage? How about you and your sister? Wild mushrooms could have killed you. Did you have any idea that some of them are poisonous to humans? If your falls included blood there was more involved than broken bones. Sharp objects in the way? Boy when you think back on it don't you marvel that you survived? Thank you for our reply Ele!  :)

I thought the garage thing was a myth until my sister mentioned it 10 years ago. She also thought it was a myth. It wasn't. I don't know how much damage as we ran like hell back home. The mushroom thing is my first childhood memory...getting my stomach pumped. Hey...a new question has just formed. Don't steal it.

I never steal questions Ele. You know that.  However based on conversations I have sometimes the exchanges do trigger more questions. Every experience I have is fodder for asking questions. So I ask them. Do I ask questions others have asked? Of course. Not knowingly. I ask the same questions more than once too because I've asked a dozen jillion of them since 2005 and I'm the same person I was when I joined Answerbag in February 2005 with the same interest and concerns. So of course I I  duplicate and triplicate and quadruplicate questions. I can't possibly remember every question I ever asked for 13 years!! Gotta be that way. No other way. I remember back in the early Answerbag days folks got furious if you asked the same or a similar question. They thought you stole theirs! Seriously dumb in my opinion. We're all human and have similar concerns sometimes.  Questions are not the property of the first person who asks them and all the ones those folks asked others had certainly asked before they did. The did not originate them! Being anal about something so dumb is dumb . Once on Answerbag a member asked my permission to use the questions I asked on another social site. He said he would give me attribution. I told him once I ask I move on and the question doesn't belong to me. I said I didn't mind at all and he could take credit for them if he wished because I didn't care. I told him it was very nice of him to ask permission since I wouldn't have known what he did one way or the other. The thing I'm anal about is being on time. I get frantic if I'm gonna be a minute late. Don't know where that comes from but I've been that way since I can remember. AARRGGHH!  :( Thank you for your reply Ele!  :) This post was edited by RosieG at November 1, 2018 12:41 PM MDT

Knowingly? I think once or twice I prefaced a question with "I've asked this question before on another internet social site". I forget what the questions were.  I remember one person keep on my back about asking the same questions repeatedly when I was on Answerbag. Tracking my questions for similarities seemed to me to be the ultimate in a stupid dumb waste of time. Was she obsessed with me ? I dunno and I don't care. Anyway thank you for your reply Ele and Happy Friday! :)

A couple of months ago, a new member asked a question that I had asked three days before. He got more answers. Go figure. Once in a while I will ask an old AB question for the newbies.

Well I'm isolated and off in my own little world. You have to go out of your way to get to me. I don't expect much traffic. It is what it is. Thank you for your reply.

When I was  kid I had a shelf on the wall in the bedroom on which I had a few "storybook dolls". One night for some reason I imagined them moving! It only happened once and I can't figure out why but after that I wasn't as fond of them. I don't remember what I did with them. Maybe put them in a toy box. Funny odd now many decades later but at that moment it was very unsettling. I expect you are joking Lollipop. I'm not! Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)
