My wife loves to dance. I never learned how to dance, and I quit doing it in public due to others' reactions. If we are out for an evening,

don't mind if a gentleman dances with her, I do not get jealous nor possessive. I know how much she enjoys it, and it makes her happy.

Men, what do you think of your wife dancing with another man in your presence, especially another man who dances better than you do?

No biggie. I'm an awful dancer, I have three left feet.

She goes home with me - that's what matters. The last dance is mine.

In my dancing days I wouldn't like it as I was a pretty good dancer.

You don't want your boyfriend to dance with other men?  That makes sense to me. Hey, wait . . .

I don't like to dance. But my husband used to so I would go for him. Neither one of us would be happy about the other dancing with another.

As long as if works for y'all it is fine.

  • I'm just going to interject my unsolicited opinion. Learn how to dance. It's never too late. Surprise your wife and make her happy.

Your opinion is not unsolicited: posting a question on an open forum website invites others' opinions.

Thanks. I have made attempts to learn to dance, or to dance better than I do now. That ship has sailed, and my wife is just as happy with me just as I am, no need to change.

I know this is not your question, but you are an athlete.  You would be a good dancer.  You just need someone to show you why it is fun.

If you are as connected to being so generous with your wife, she would be so happy if you loved dance half as much as she does.

Just because she wants to please you back.

I hope you take a few lessons.  I know you would like it if you let yourself.  You've gone this far, why not?

I just read what you wrote to Lenina so I know you are not going to get excited by my reply.

I get it.  I do.  You two are who you are and that's okay.

I've always been better at singing than dancing.

Actually, Third Street to be precise. South side of my block. But I walk past Eighth Street all the time. How'd you know where I live? Creepy.

I'm deeply insulted, sir!  The audacity, the sheer tenacity, the unmitigated gall of accusing me of such a dastardly deed!  Harumpf!

(Meanwhile, in Randy D's wallet, the following well-used business card can be found . . .  )
