I don't think I received a red bannered notice like the one shown above, but after the fact when I had been reinstated and asked management, they informed me that an email notification had been sent to me. Since I only open my email once every eon, I never saw it, nor have I opened my email yet. ~
I had messaged JA minutes before I was locked out and she replied with the reason(s) afterward (read it in my email) so I'd know why. I knew why, and figured something was going to happen.
"Penalty Box" implies it's punitive or a punishment. It's not. It's typically given as a cool-off period or an opportunity for someone to take a step back and gain some composure, so they can resume interacting within the bounds of the TOS. Equally, it also enables me to have a life outside my computer, rather than sitting on the site repeatedly removing things that shouldn't have been posted in the first place. So, thanks, Wakko, I needed a break to get real life concerns tended to.
When you think you're responding to someone's comment, you keep posting it as a new answer to your own question instead. You should click in the Reply box that accompanies the other person's answer or comment. ~
You want to be like him, or perhaps like me Every day of your existence, you wish about who you could be The root of your evil is your jealousy Day in and day out you toil royally Regretting life because you're not Randy D It's no way to live, don't you agree? Burma Shave! ~
What would land one in the penalty box here? So far everyone who has responded on this thread are very nice people from what I have read, whom I can't imagine would deserve to be penalized, so I am curious.
