I did not know that. Just like I didn't know that dandelions were very nutritious. Would the tops be eaten in a salad?

I saw a vid where this woman made natural smoothies and used the whole strawberry and remarked that you should keep the tops on because they are high in nutrients.

Hmmmm….  I would eat them in a salad sure.

… also young dandelion sautéed in olive oil are delicious.  YUM  Leaves and flowers.  The older ones have leaves that are too tough.

I've eaten wild violet flowers. They taste like clover leaves. They say that cooked stinging nettle is good. (I will not try that)  They also say that the kind of dandilion that makes good salads is not the same as grows in your lawn.

Baloney.  I have eaten several different varieties and I ate those and they were delicious.  I did not die either.
