    Not if the bear has all the gears on the bike tuned up. Cheers!

    Even a bear without a mountain bike would catch a running man.  This post was edited by Don Barzini at November 20, 2018 8:41 PM MST

    Yes.

    If I can outrun one on a uni-cycle, then a mountain bike should leave him in the dust.

    Cringeworthy.  :- {
    Personally, I’d rather hike it myself.

    These guys aren’t outrunning any bears.

    I totally agree.  It is frightening.  OUCH!!  Every now and then Don will be channel surfing and a skateboard guy comes on and biffs.  Like you, I don't find pleasure in watching someone else's misfortune.  Luckily these guys know what they are doing... or do they?  Too scary for me to watch... I just clicked on it.  I really haven't watched this video.  I'm afraid of the outcome. ;) :)

    You don't have to outrun the bear.  You only have to outrun your hiking buddy.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it isn't a fair competition.

    You can't outrun a bike.  Either you run a course or you bike a course.  The bear is a fuzzy touch but either way, feet and wheels cannot compete.

    If this race were to actually take place, my bet would be on the man.
    The bear would be hard pressed to catch a man in flight filled with fright and trying to balance on a bike....

    I would also give lots of hunny to the bear for trying.

    Given the possibility of a misplaced adverbial phrase, I will give a true answer whether or not the phrase is misplaced:  "It depends on how fast he can pedal."

    Funny thing there, it depends on how long the track is.

    Short trach -> The man don't have a chance.
    Long track -> The bear don't have  a chance.

    Idk what yuse peeps are smockin' what makes yoose think that a man could outrun anything on a bike.... now given, the bear probably hasn't done much training but still...on a bike?!!! No chance for the man, even if the bear has no sense of balance he will still beat the man if he's on a bike, especially downhill just plain physics...inertia and kinetic energy...who would even debate sushi absurdity?!!!

    Well I don't know about the other peeps but I'm smoking a genetically engineered hybrid  of Texada  Timewarp and I still can't imagine a person out running a bear on a bike. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at December 14, 2018 2:00 PM MST
