    ive been trying to get ssi for alnnost 7 yrs, it was a connplete surprise to get nnail saying inn getting it, i was shocked

    All surprises are good.  Depending on where your state of mind is.

    I can deliver bad news.  It can be a shock. I can choose to think of it as bad.  I can choose to think of it as an obstacle that I need to overcome.  It is a necessary manner of developing a calm demeanor inside and outside and trust that things are for your greater good.

    Or.  You can spend your time in fear and anger over how the world is treating you.  It treats us all this way.  Happiness is a joy between two sorrows and vice-versa.

    Yes. I don't want it. But it had to be done. IT was a long time coming and NOW the swamp will be drained for good.

    NOW that people can see what it is like to vote in an election and the consequences are life-threatening.

    It is a travesty, but we asked for it as a nation and as a globe.  Having despots in power exacts a toll.

      When you first posted this answer, I misread it as "babysitter".  That conjured up all kinds of potential scenarios, none of them very favorable to you. I'm glad I reread it; CPS is not on the way to your place with an arrest warrant, Professor.

    I can't remember my last surprise. :(  Wow.
    I can remember the last time I was startled.  About an hour ago by Don who was walking around the corner and I didn't know.
