Yeah.  There is nothing wrong with that name.  I also have a fake friend name Ida.

She is hurt.  You need to apologize.

That is really uncalled for and I think you should delete that remark. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at November 22, 2018 7:56 PM MST

I won't. When you joke about things, you consider it humorous.  You have no obligation to like my post nor to think it's funny, but that doesn't give grounds for me to delete it. If you deleted every one of your posts that someone disagrees with, I'll do the same with mine.
My entire post is in jest, it's not a slight against anyone named Ida, it's merely a play on words: Ida Rather, I'd rather.
You see, if you had understood that, you might not have gotten all bent out of shape.
Just admit that you missed the intended humor (regardless of whether or not you find it funny) and that you thought it had something to go with tge fake friend's name.  By the way, the same type of misunderstanding can take place when you post something that you think is funny and someone disagrees.

I am talking (I didn't read this answer of yours) about what you said about Pearl.

What do you mean by an "excuse"? Wanna explain that one?

I don't care about the rest of this question. That was all fine.

  • I've heard that Ida is planning on marrying Don Knotts' son, Thomas.  That will change things.  :) This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at November 23, 2018 8:00 PM MST

    !!!!!

I am sorry.  I am not trying to be mean spirited.  I thought it was clever at first and then I realized I am being mean.

Ida Rather say, for once, I DID get it the first time around.  I had to explain it to Don. He didn't get it at first, either.

Ida rather say, I thought it was funny!  Shoot, you could take a name other people know me as and brutalize it.  Ida Rather is must more respectful than the fun and games you could have with mine!!
